Riverpark West is a residential community in Richmond, in eastern Fort Bend County, Texas. The neighborhood is built around a series of lakes, with walking trails, fishing piers and parks connecting the sections to one another.
Children living in Riverpark West attend Lamar Consolidated ISD schools. The feeder pattern runs from Irma Dru Hutchison Elementary to Reading Junior High and on to George Ranch High School.
Two separate organizations serve the neighborhood, and new residents routinely confuse them. The Riverpark West Property Owners Association Inc handles deed restrictions, assessments, the common areas and architectural approval. Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 121 is a governmental district that provides water and wastewater service and bills for it separately.

Riverpark West sits in Richmond between the Grand Parkway and the Westpark Tollway, which puts Sugar Land, the Highway 59 corridor and the wider Houston area within a straightforward drive.
What's the difference between the HOA and MUD 121?
They're separate organizations. The Riverpark West Property Owners Association Inc handles deed restrictions, assessments, common areas, amenities and architectural approval. Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 121 is a separate governmental district that provides water and wastewater service and bills for it. Water bill questions go to the MUD, not the HOA — and fence, paint and addition approvals go to the HOA, not the MUD.
