Wicked Fun Run 5K Races Into Riverstone Sept. 26

The Wicked Fun Run 5K will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at The Club at Riverstone in Sugar Land. The event will benefit St. Laurence, a nonprofit that provides shoes to children in need.

Runners can choose a competitive race for $35 or a non-competitive race for $25. A 1K kids run costs $15. Those fees can be waived by donating a pair of new children's tennis shoes of equal or greater value to St. Laurence.

The Club at Riverstone is at 18353 University Boulevard. Prizes will go to the top three male and female finishers.

After the races, participants can attend a party with a photo booth, DJ, bounce houses, face painters and other activities.
